Stephen Afflitto joined the Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center as a project manager in February 2020. Stephen works on Maternal Safety projects sponsored by the Ohio Department of Health.
Most recently, Stephen served as a project manager in the planning and business development department at Nationwide Children’s Hospital, where he worked on projects focused on strategy development and business planning for the organization, including coordinating the establishment of telehealth services, supporting partnership and expansion opportunities, and facilitating strategic planning for various clinical services. Prior to his time at Nationwide Children’s, Stephen worked as a registered dietitian, gaining experience in corporate wellness, community health, and acute patient care.
Stephen earned a Bachelor of Science in Health and Rehabilitation Sciences with a major in Medical Dietetics from The Ohio State University, and a Master of Health Administration from the University of Missouri.
