Director of Research (R128824):

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) seeks a dynamic and experienced leader to serve as our next Director of Research. The Director of Research leads a large team with 30 staff under their direct supervision, maintaining a portfolio of 15 state and federal research grants. In addition, the organization includes twenty-five principal investigators who look to the Director of Research for mentorship. The Director of Research should be an accomplished senior academic researcher and leader who has strong experience interacting with state health and human services agencies. This role requires executive level performance with regard to managing, mentoring, and leading multiple research agendas while providing a high level of service to executive-level health and human services state agency leadership. Additionally, this position is eligible for faculty appointment (with tenure track potential) with the Department of Biomedical Informatics at The Ohio State University. (Full details included in the linked description).

Assistant Director, GRC Research and Analytics (R128884):

The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for the position of Manager 3, Reporting and Analytics. This position functions as the lead of the Informatics subsection of the GRC’s Research Section and functions as an Assistant Director of Research and Analytics. The GRC engages in applied health services and population health research in a project-based team setting. GRC’s Informatics section currently consists of 12 researchers who specialize in statistical methodology, data visualization, interactive dashboards, and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). The successful candidate will: (1) Lead the Informatics section by mentoring and supervising multiple staff members and managers while managing project deliverables and quality assurance; (2) Contribute to project work as a mentor, guide, and technical or subject matter expert, and/or team or task lead; (3) coordinate Informatics section activities such as hiring and project assignments; (4) contribute to new project development; and (5) assist in leadership activities across GRC’s organization.
