Lindsay Marx joined GRC in 2023. She has over 11 years of public service with the State of Ohio. Throughout her state service, she has gained experience in fiscal operations and currently serves the GRC as a Senior Business Operations Analyst. Lindsay plays an integral role as part of the GRC Finance Team, which is responsible for budgeting, proposal preparation, compliance, subcontracting, contract/agreement negotiations, progress reporting and closeout.
Prior to joining the GRC, she worked for two years for the Ohio Department of Commerce as a Financial Program Manager overseeing state revenue, expenditures, and the biennium budget process. She previously worked at The Ohio State University as a Business Manager 1 with the Ohio Union and Department of Student Activities. This role consisted of contract review, expenditure and budget management, and invoicing. She spent six years at Kent State University managing eight residence halls and supervising staff.
Lindsay holds a Master of Education degree in Higher Education Administration from Marquette University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics Education from Eastern Illinois University.
