Senior Researcher

Emily joined Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) in April 2025. She serves as a senior researcher for the OhioRISE Evaluation, State Opioid and Stimulant Response (SOS) grant, and the Ohio Pediatric Mental Healthcare Access Program (PMHCA) in the program design and evaluation section.

She previously worked as a data analyst at the Department of Children and Youth, where she led diverse mixed-method evaluation projects. Her work focused on enhancing infant mortality outcomes by assessing program effectiveness and impact across Ohio. Emily has a Master of Public Health (MPH) from the Ohio State University with a specialization in Health Behavior and Health Promotion, along with a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Human Nutrition Food and Exercise from Virginia Tech.

In her free time, Emily loves tackling home improvement projects alongside her husband and their lively labradoodle, Manni. She’s often found immersed in a good book, cheering at college football games, or exploring local coffee shops whenever she gets the chance.
