Two years ago, GRC staff came together in an extraordinary show of generosity to support Autumn Nalls’ family after her tragic passing due to childbirth-related complications. Autumn’s story remains a powerful reminder of why our mission to improve health for all Ohioans matters so deeply.

Autumn was a devoted mother, advocate, and friend whose life was cut short far too soon. Today, her children, Khari Nalls, age 5 and Khaiaire Gresham age 2, are being lovingly cared for by Autumn’s mother-in-law Angela.

“I have had both of the children since October and they are growing and learning through their ups and downs,” remarked Angela.

While Destiny White, Autumn’s lifelong friend, continues to provide support, the family’s needs remain significant. As we approach this holiday season, we invite GRC staff to once again rally around this family. Your contributions can help provide stability and comfort during a time that is still marked by loss.

Autumn’s life and passing underscore the urgency of addressing maternal health disparities, a cause at the heart of GRC’s work. By giving today, you not only honor Autumn’s legacy but also reaffirm our shared commitment to compassion and equity.

Please consider donating this holiday season. Together, we can make a meaningful difference.
