The Ohio Department of Medicaid contracts with GRC to complete two technical assistance tasks:
- Provide coding and results for Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) health services quality metrics; and
- Link Vital Statistics birth and death records and Medicaid administrative data using a probabilistic linkage methodology.
These products are used by the Department of Medicaid and other state agencies to monitor population health, study key issues in population health and health services research, evaluate current initiatives, and design new policies and programs.
